A long overdue Xanga Post

Weddings - Even if its not your own wedding, attending one seems to end up costing you a fair bit. I have at least 3 weddings to go to this year. That means I have at least 3 outfits to buy ( dress, shoes, bag & accessories ). My fiancee has already bought me an amazing new dress this week, which I will wear to my sister's wedding and I have purchased another dress for a wedding coming up in 2 weeks time, thats means I still have to find another outfit for a wedding that I'm attending in July. My worse nightmare would be someone else wearing exactly the same dress that I have on. It hasn't happened to me yet but thats always been a worry when buying outfits. There will be even more weddings to attend next year aswell, including my own. Weddings are an expensive business, which gives me an idea, maybe there is money to be made in this sector. Mmmmm interesting.........

I've got Dave and Martin hooked on a new tv series called Pussycat Dolls presents The Search for the next Doll. Its wicked, most of the girls are hot, I really hope Melissa R wins but I think Asia has a good chance of winning.

I'm still in Notts well I went home yesterday to sort out my parents tax accounts and check on my grandma. I spent a good 3-4 hours cleaning the guys apartment today, Fai came round to do some work on Dave's website, I cooked lunch and have just finished cooking chilli con carne for dinner. Plans for tonight would be to watch a movie at showcase, maybe the new Sandra Bullock film - Premonition, then check out the uni party at Isis and maybe have a hot bath if we don't get back too late. We were out last night, Dave took me to Tantra to see this live singer, he's really good, just him and his guitar and we're going out tonight and tomorrow night, mmmm I really am making the most of my time off, tee hee

::edit:: forgot to mention that Dave kicked my ass in badminton this afternoon that means its 1 game all.

BRING IT ON MR SO!!!!

We're back from New York..................

Its been a long week, we ate loads, shopped loads and spent loads. New York isn't a place where you can relax and after spending a whole week there, I found it very over rated (especially the shopping). Didn't buy alot of clothes, I bought 2 handbags (1 Miu Miu paid for my me and 1 Louis Vuitton bag which Dave paid for) I don't think it was cheaper to get it from NY either, 1 pair of sunglasses, a Tiffany ring, lingerie from Victoria's Secret (wow, I wish I got loads more), loads of MAC products, loads of Hersheys chocolate, loads of souvenirs and loads of lychee sweets. We took hundreds of pics and we kept a daily video diary aswell but thats just for our personal benefit so I wont be posting those clips here. Highlight of the trip was going to the top of The Empire State Building at 11pm, the view was amazing. Best place we ate in was at Katz Deli, from the film When Harry Met Sally, they do the best hot pastrami sandwiches ever. We also managed to go to the famous Serendipty, the queue was unbelievable, we went on sunday night and the wait was 1 hr 30 mins for a table. Me and Dave put our names down on the list, went for sushi then came back to Serendipty's for dessert, Mmmmmm it was yummy, we had a chocolate brownie sundae. I don't want to write loads about this holiday so thats enough for now, oh yea have to mention that it was SNOWING in NY, it was so pretty walking through Central Park in the snow.

Woo Hoo New York in less than 3 days!!!!

Me and Dave are going to see if we can have an actual arguement in the 3 weeks that we're going to spend together 24/7. To this day we have never had any disagreements/fights, weird huh?

I'm not one for bragging but I beat Mr So at badminton maybe he let me win or maybe he didn't I dunno, it was a good game though considering as I haven't played since high school. Bring on Round 2..................

Not long til New York now, Dave has given me his new suitcase so that I can start packing and hes also given me a set of his appartment keys ( on temporary loan of course til i move in hehe). I've written a itinenary for our week there, we're gonna cram as much sightseeing in as possible with the odd day of shopping thrown in. I'm still worried about our choice of hotel but don't think we can do much about it now as it already been paid for.
